Meet the Artist
Phyllis fell in love with the arts at a very early age. She was quickly recognized for her talent in drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography in her youth. Fueled by what had grown into a passion she went on to study painting, photography, music, and film at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia. As she launched her career her color photography was chosen for a major exhibition of Virginia artists at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She has since exhibited numerous works of photography and paintings at a variety of juried and solo exhibitions throughout the years. Today she is frequently exhibited on the East Coast. She travels around the world for plein air painting and photography.
